Hi,

I've been having a major problem with changing the printer on layouts in AutoCAD 2000.

At work, as the main A4 wasn't working I needed to change printer for all my layouts on a drawing, that I desperately needed to plot. I can select the new printer but when I go to plot, the progress bar appears for a short time and then a fatal error occurs (don't ask me what the code is as I can't remember and forgot to note it down).
This also happened when I did a drawing from home and then attempted to print it out at work - obviously I had to change printers but stiil there was a fatal error.

What could be causing this? Bearing in my that I'm running AutoCAD 2000 on W98, could there be a bug because of the earlier OS?

Please let me know..

Thanks,

Renegade..

I am running ADT 3.3 on XP-Pro and last week I simply deleted a printer on the system. After that I would be in ADT and go to print and the progress bar comes up and wham - fatal autocad error. After working with tech support for a day I had to reinstall the entire program and that fixed it, but what a fix. No one could tell me why but it happend. Deleting a desktop printer in windows prevented me from printing or plotting in ADT - nuts.
