FATAL ERROR Message recieved - HELP

Can anyone help or come across the following error messages. They appear at the end of the session log after records have been written away to the target tables.

Informatica6/Oracle 9 environment. Server on Solaris box.

Hi,

Fatal error generally occurs if unable to load data into target. following may be the reason for this occurence.

1. The source data type and target data type does not match.
2. the source data type and target data type are not compatible like BLOB data type etc. check the actual data type in /source/target and data type in mappings. informatica doesn't support BLOB dataatypes etc.


if still does not work let me know.

This message may also be a result of an issue with your repository. If one of the internal opb log tables that Informatica writes to is full or hit a max extent situation you may see this error.

I would recommend looking into the logs that Informatica generates on the server side for more clues (e.g. pmserver.log, (pmserver.err), pmrepserver.log, and/or pmrepagent.log).
