Does anyone know how to disable the Smart Spooling in the dirver for DesignJets 500/800/5000 in ACAD2000(i)
here is what Im on about......
Fatal error occurs and the application terminates.
The error is similar to the following message:
FATAL ERROR: Unhandled e06d736h Exception at 77*****8h
Solution
You can use either of the following methods to prevent this fatal error from occurring. Method #1 turns off plot log file creation in the Autodesk software, and method # 2 requires you to contact HP to find out how to disable a hidden setting in the driver.
Method #1
To turn off plot log file creation in the Autodesk software:
From the File menu, choose Plot.
In the Plot dialog box, under Plot Stamp, choose Settings.
In the Plot Stamp dialog box, choose Advanced.
In the Advanced Options dialog box, under Log File Location, clear the Create a Log File option.
Note: If you turn off the Plot Stamp in the Plot dialog box, the error will continue to occur. You must turn off plot logging.
Method #2
Contact Hewlett-Packard directly for instructions to disable smart spooling
in the driver, which will stop the error from occurring.
