I have had my Palm Tungsten W for quite some time. I use KeyDates rather than the Datebook as it has a few more features. Until today, KeyDates was working fine. Unfortunately, whenever I try to open it now I get a Fatal Alert which reads:

DateDB.c, Line:2145, Error Querying record

The only option I then have is to press "Reset."

I have a lot of important data on KeyDates (I call my Palm "my portable brain") and I am loathe to do a hard reset because I do not want to lose the data.

Thanks in advance.

Don't know that this will help, but here's a similar case:

Fatal Alert DateDB.c:

"I did a hard reset and wiped out everything and my palm now worked. So I knew it wasn't my Palm. I hadn't installed any new apps in over 6 apps, so I new that wasnt the problem.

When I resynced the same thing kept happening, same errors. So I kept doing a hard reset. Then decided to reinstall my Pylon software I use for Lotus Notes, so I reinstalled and all works fine now. It even loaded all my third party apps and everything. No problems. I Don't know what happened, but glad it works now."
