Hello
I am writing an access program which is a customer/machine database and I am trying to write it to allow the user to select certain records for reporting. However whenever I try it I get a W95 error saying that either Access.exe performed an invalid instruction, or caused an invalid page fault in MSACCESS.exe, and W95 shuts Access down.

I have also tried to do the same things with some sample programs i.e. Northwind database and some sample dbs from the books Running Access 97 and Access 97 Bible.

The result is the same. Everything is OK until I try to run a report on specific records.
I use a PC at home and a laptop in the office and they both do the same thing!
I assumed it was a bug but I can't find anything on any bulletins.
I would be glad for some help please.

Regards
p.s Access97 and Win 95b

I have solved this problem now.
Since the error seemed to be generated by Access.exe I copied Access.exe from another PC that didn't have the problem and the problem has gone. Access.exe must have got corrupted somehow.
