As of a few days ago, we are having trouble staying connected to our remote MICS (6.1 MR3) when using NRU.
Our 2 sites are connected together via E&M, and we dial the extension of the FastRad to connect. This has been working fine for the past year or so (we would occassionally lose connection, but it was infrequent).
Using 2 different computers, with 2 different modems & 2 different ASM's at corporate, we recently cannot stay connected to our remote system for more than 45-60 seconds, at which point the connection is terminated.
I tried calling the DID of our local FastRad (7.0 MICS), and it stays connected.
We are using the default modem init string (EQ0X4V1&D2&C1S7=85). The baud rate is set for 9600, and we usually connect to the remote FastRad at 12000.
Does anyone have any other suggestions for the modem init string? Could our FastRad at our remote site be going bad (or need to be reset)?
When dialing an extension at the remote site, we do not hear any abnormalities on the line.
Thanks
