Faster backups with arcserve

When using the sdlt 110/220 drives connected directly to the server being backed up. I start out backing up at approx. 2gb/min., but it dwindles down little by little until it settles at about 750mb/min. I've heard that there are buffers and such that you can increase to keep it running at 2gb/min. What do I have to do, or where can I read about how to change things to make the backups run faster? Also if there are any other ways to adjust settings or such, can anyone let me know. Thanks

you can also use the "sharemem" utility to increase the
job buffers . This utility is available on the ARCserve 2000
Cd under the utilities folder

Thanks spes. The article wasn't helpfull except to let me know that everything is set up correctly. I didn't know about the utility folder on the arcserve cd... duh!!! I'll have to look into it today.
