Hi,
I want to move a huge amount of data (e.g 25 mb to 50 mb) from one server to another server. And i don't have telnet access.
Moreover i don't want to stay connected all the time.
Does anybody know a tool that can be useful to me ??
Any help in this regard would be sincerly appreciated..
Eagerly awaiting any response

Thanks/Regards
Great Techno.

Burn a CD. Use Laplink / MS Direct Cable Connection. Use PC/Anywhere.

Bill.

Can you provide more details? 25-50 MB is a small amount by today's standards. Depending on what it is, it might even zip down to a floppy size chunk. Or you could use a Zip disk.

Are you talking two servers on two unconnected networks without Internet access? Why otherwise would you not want ot be connected all the time?
Jeff
I haven't lost my mind - I know it's backed up on tape somewhere ....

Hi,

I happened to come across a site
this site may not be perfect but it does serve the purpose of transfer

of data from one server to another. And it is unbelieveably fast.
The main problem with the site is that it does not allow you to access

your local Hard Disk.

What platform? If on *nix, you can cron an SFTP connection, rsynch, etc etc etc
Platform and connectivity are the important factors here

(as well as why this is posted in a "security forum" <g>)
