Fast Rad & alarms question

In looking at the Fast Rad there is a option for inputting a number to dial if a Alarm is Raised I understand this would be the number it would dial if a alarm was Raised, my Question is specifically lets say there is a alarm from a card/system Failure, can this be directed to a Beeper, or can it only go to another modem with a Serial printer Attached and if it can only Go to a Modem what kind of info can it send, ? I have a FastRad Installation guide but it does not address that at all,

Have the Rad phone pager followed by a series of the Rads ext #.
