AMD 1.2g Athlon, Win98SE, 3Com 905b-TX 10/100 NIC, connected to 100M LAN. Can not get a data transfer over the LAN any faster than 80K/sec.. All the other PC's have accomplished between 5meg - 8meg/sec. I've switched NIC's, Cables and PCI slots. RWIN set to 56400, MaxMTU to 1500, MSS 7240, still slow on the LAN.. however, outside of the LAN, it will achieve normal speeds on a T1 downloading data up to a respectable 150K+/sec... Any ideas??
