Fast connect and routing problem

I have a customer who has two locations. First we configured the second network as a 2nd. network - working fineexcept fast connect. Then we changed that so now it is bridged and everything is working.

Now we need to change that back to two networks so I would like to know if anybody has any experience with AIX/Fast connect and routed networks? We are using AIX 4.3
