Hi all.
I got a problem with Anti-Executable Standard v2.00.000.187

A few days ago I installed Anti-Executable on one of my machines in
the classroom and I've noticed that something is not right, all
gpedit.msc (Group Policy Editor) changes that I made don't "work" although they are "ENABLED".
After I installed Anti-Executable at that moment it didn't changed
but after the first restart, no gpedit.msc Options work....look at that
PrintScreen that I made : So pls tell me what to do...I can't install Anti-Executable if Group
Policy Editor doesn't work.
10x in advance, waiting for a reply.

Have you refreshed the policy on the machine, and done a reboot? I noticed that this is off the local machine's policy. What I don't know, is the machine in a domain? If so, what are the domain settings (the domain settings will override the local settings). There is very little that I can find about "Anti-Executable Standard v2.00.000.187", specifically, the makers of the program, or any tech support they may offer, but, I don't think that the program is what the issue is. Which account are you logged into? Is it a domain account, or local account?

Is a local account, not a domain!
It doesn't matter If I'm logged under Administrator or Restricted User, in both cases gpedit.msc is not working.
I think that this program is making some changes in the registry, because I searched the registry and found nothing about the program, hmmm interesting...is hidding its files.
Than another think, I can't enter the Folder were the Program is installed, although I'm under Administrator account, and it doesn't want to show me the Permission on this Folder, but it is ok, this is for security, I understand.
The program is very good, but if I don't solve the problem with gpedit.msc I think I will not use it.

I would look into asking "faronics" what the issue may be. Specifically when there is a comment of "full access to all computer functions" at:

There also seems to be some sort of disconnect between what they advertize, and what you are seeing/dealing with. Did you get the trial version, or did you already pay (should qualify you for the year of support)? Sounds to me like this particular program is nothing that couldn't be done with some due diligence, and some knowledge of what you want to secure (IMO, I think it is a waste of money).
