Fellas! (and ladies!) I found the most amazing spreadsheet when I was trying to update my FAQ. I seriously recommend you take a look at it and down load it for your records onto your laptops for field use. It is faq688-5568 in the FAQ section.

Quite informative indeed!

A few thoughts:

The document appears to have been created before Avaya announced that the 2 port license for the A.P.M. was being discontinued.

The R8 processor is due to be released mid year so hopefully a revised document can be issued.

Are those prices MSRP [ponder]

If it ain't broke, I haven't fixed it yet.

According to the Cover Page of the file, it was revised in March 2006. I am sure that Avaya had made changes to the Partner line up since then. As far as prices go, I am not certain. I would guess that the figures are MSRP. This document seems to have been co-authored by Ron Rogers. I believe he is a high level manager in Avaya in their SMBS Department (Small-Medium Business Sales). As it states on the document, and as I recall from previous email correspondence with him years ago, Mr. Rogers works with Avaya's Pre-Sales Technical Support Team. He and his team would need to know all of what this document states so that they could advide their clients what new technology would with with their existing technology to end up with a solution that would accomplish what the client wanted to achieve. PHEW! Hopefully that makes things clearer for you folks and not muddle things up further! ;)

there is a version out there that is revised in November 2008, it is somewhere on the Avaya partner website I just don't want to post it because the pricing is in it and I am not sure if we are allowed to post it on public websites.

Uh oh....

If the information contained in the documents is proprietary, then it probably should be removed from this forum.

If it ain't broke, I haven't fixed it yet.

it is not necessarily proprietary but it has pricing (MSRP) in it and I had one run in with proprietary stuff and don't want to get kicked out and chance it.
