Fan unit error PWR045

Hello all,
I am continually getting a PWR045 error.
This is indicating that there may be an issue with the fan unit.
I have a replacement fan unit.
My question is can the unit be hot swapped?

Are there steps and procedures available to replace the fan unit?

Any input would be great.
