Fan 3com Superstack Entry Hub makes a lot of noise

Hi,
Can somebody help me,
I've got a 3com Superstack entry hub.
It makes a lot of noise.
It is installed on a place where the temperature is sometimes 5 C.
Is it possible that this is to cold for a hub?
Or is the fan damaged ?

Without hearing it I'd guess it's either got a lot of dust and stuff in it or it has a bad bearing. Either way crack it open a clean it or put a new one in.
