I've got a user reporting that the over head system (PA?) is alerting people that there's a new voicemail, but when they go to check the Audix mailbox there are no new messages, the PBX is an 8700. I'm a newb and have no documentation on the customer setup so I welcome any and all advice on adressing this issue.
Thanks for the assistance.

OK,,,, word for word. What are the EXACT words coming through the loudspeakers?

Someone has programmed outcalling from their mailbox and probably forgot to include the '9'. The number outpulsed by the voicemail is the Loudspeaker Paging access code. You can do a few things: Change the COR on the voice mail ports to block access to paging, Change the paging access code, or monitor the voice mail ports to try and catch the mailbox that is causing the problem. Changing the COR is the easiest.
