Hello,

I have a big problem in a WAN infrastructure with ATM protocols.

The proplem is this :

I have an ATM subiterface that fall in a branch (eg: ROME > Napoli ) then I have a right TRAP over NNM that the ATM PVC are fault ... When the ATM come UP I receive a loop of message in NNM that the protocol are still down !!!

This loop has got a frequency of messages any 5 second

This generate a big problem to the network support that receive FALSE ticket.

any help is accepted

Hi Graphco, do you still have this issue?

Which router is the "closest" to your NNM server?
Rome or Napoli?

Which router is sending the protocol DOWN trap when the ATM PVC comes up? Rome or Napoli?

Thanks in advance.

Hello

the router that first came down is the Napoli in Brach ( Naples)

So I suppose that the Trap is generated by the Naples site.

After 1 second the protocol cames UP.

But Our NNM continue to generate the ALARM even if the protocol is UP
