Faking out Parallel Ring to External number?

I have heard it is possible to get parallel ring to work with an external number by using Generic extension as secondary ring location which is set via Repeated Individual Diversion to go to an external number.

This is using TSW SP3

I have been trying but unable to make it work.... Calls made directly to Generic extension indeed call external number, and with Profile turned off, calls made to primary number parallel ring to secondary ring location.

Has anyone made this work? Or is there another way....?

sure this can work, you can use remote extension for this.
