Hopefully you can advise on this, I have a series of asp pages that I have not been responsible for developing, in numerous cases connections are opened and not closed.
I am wondering if this could be the root cause of the memory spiralling out of control and the server crashing about once a week. Personally I'd like to change this by simply closing the connections but I'm having trouble convincing some folks... any FAQ's or anything anyone knows of or any tips on connection management would be helpfull
(Running IIS and MS SQL Server 7.0)
Thanks
