Failure to run online video like Launch.com

Windows 2000 Pro, ADSL Internet connnection, IE6

Think my wife may have installed something that has affected all user profiles. Can't play videos of off Launch.com and several others. Properties of the videos on Launch are javascript:playvideos.
I think maybe File Type Associations, but when I get there I can't figure out which files.

Any suggestions,
