Failure to print in Windows 7

I have been running Sidekick 98 in Windows XP successfully for years but have now upgraded to Windows 7 (64 bit). Sidekick installed (runs in XP SP3 mode) and runs without difficulty but I am having no success with printing my calendars. When I press "Print" the print spooler starts but nothing shows up at the printer and the printer queue stays empty. This is true for all printers and as well as printing to PDF.
