I have 2 x1232TD PABXs which are installed at 2 different locations but are linked by extensions appearing as exchange lines on the other and viceversa to enable transfer and cheaper communication. The problem is that when a call is transferred to the other PABX it fails to disconnect after hanging up and this is causing unnecessary congestion on the "tie lines".

thats right''' the trunk line does not provide the signal to tell the line to hang up thus the line stay's open
its called cpc signal detect
