Hello,

I wanted to know if anyone has configured a failover process for a policy based route-map.

The scenario is as follows:

-Primary MSFC has multiple IP interface vlan segments acting as the default gateway for these user subnets.
-There is a default route in the primary that forwards all traffic to the firewall where multiple vpn tunnels are configured. The vpn tunnels act as the primary point of entry into each remote location.
-The remote offices are multihomed with a VPN tunnel and a p2p frame connection for redundancy.

-There is one specific critical subnet configured that needs to traverse via the frame for access to these remote locations.
-A policy route-map has been binded to this ip interface vlan which is then forcing this particular traffic across the frame instead of the default vpn.

My question is that in the event the frame fails... Is there a way to configure a failover process over to the vpn tunnels????

The internal routing protocol being used is RIP ver. 2.

The core network is comprised of a primary and secondary msfc.

Anyone that has configured a solution for a similar situation... you feedback would be most appreciative.
