Beating my head against the wall on this one. Got a
RV082 with DSL on WAN1 and Cable on WAN2. Can't get DDNS
with DynDNS.org to work - always displays "The hostname does not exist" for the status. Needless to say, the hostnames
I am specifying DO exist, and the login info as entered is
correct. I've been working with Linksys Support (if you can call it that) over several weeks on this, but their solution so far has been to send me the "latest" firmware and say "try this". 3 versions and no difference. Last email I got said they were swicting the case to SOLVED in spite of the fact that they have solved nothing.
Anyway, any ideas as to what might be going awry here? DSL is Verizon and Cable is Comcast. I have used tools running on the PC to successfully update the same hosts (in DynDNS.org) using the same login info. But with 2 load balanced lines, I need the router to do the update to get the right hosts updated. Any idea if Linksys is using open source code for the DDNS function, and if so, what code?
Thanks,
Dave
