Failed when create LV.

Hello All,

When I tried create new lv on lpar on jfs2 with 100MB but they back with this error below, this vg have 10GB free, any sugestions?

It's [tt]mknod[/tt] that's complaining about space, not the actual mklv. What's "df -Pm" look like?

After change name of the lv works...... I dont know why but's ok now.

Were you the only person on the machine?

It could be that someone fat-fingered a command and redirected to /dev/nul instead of /dev/null, thereby filling up /, then caught it and removed it between your two attempts at lv creation.

Not that I've ever done anything like that.
