Failed to send .cfg file

I have had this problem forever. And it just never goes away. I am runing 3.1 firmware (because im scared i will screw something up upgrading) I do think this might be the problem (bugs in the firmware) but 1 in 20 tries actually works when trying to save the config file to the IP403 unit

This is maddening since everything I change must be redone 15 times on ocassion.

we had that problem and it was fixed by changing the network cable from to 412 to the switch and moving it to a different port on the switch.

hope that fixes it brutha because I know your frustration. nothing like frying a config trying to change someone's VM password at 3pm on a Friday

what version of 3.1? what version of manager do you have?

3.1.65 the latest 3.1 update as far as I know. I tried changing the patch cable and switch port... still fails most of the time.

In my experience it is caused by a corrupt config. Easily tested, export all configuration entries of the existing config to csv. Create a new blank config based on your hardware then import the csv file.

Try uploading this new config to the IPO.

uninstall, then re-install manager.

well I bit the bullet and upgraded to 3.2 last night. It was so much easier than avaya made me think it was by the 100s of pages of un needed info. That fixed my problem! Thank you for all your input. I hope this thread helps others with the same problem.

I would go to 3.2.55 if you have not, it is the most stable I have found in 3.2

I nack up aarenot all the way, i would make sure you are on 3.2(55) as it is by far the most stable version of 3.2.
