Failed to Semaphore with Linux agent

Hello,

Using Arcserve 11.5 on Windows 2000. Backing up a Linux client using agent r11.5 (Build 2157). Backup go ok for about 3 or 4 days. Then start receiving error.

from uag.log on client (CENTOS4):

08/10 22:53:24(3958) - W300014: (GetIPC) Failed to get semaphore (No space left on device)
08/10 22:53:24(3958) - (node_backup) Failed in GetIPC

Only solution is to reboot machine. Very Very little load on machine (Dual Xeon 3.2, 3GB RAM)

Any Ideas?

I'm no Unix/Linux geek but "No space left on device" would seem to indicate one or more of your filesystems is out of space, preventing operations continuing perhaps tmp or swap? Perhaps you could look at filesystem use when the problem next occurs to see if it is relevant.

Doesn't seem to be Filesystem issue. There is about 300GB free. None of the partitions are even close to being full. Very little CPU load and about 2GB of free memory.
