Failed to read from database (Sybase)

While trying to backup my Sybase Database I recieve the following error message:
Failed to read from database. (DBNAME=Analyst transaction, EC=Backup Agent Error - (83) "Remote pipe open failed: time-out".)
This is because Arc-Serve is attempting to backup our transaction logs, (Which we don't use) but when I go into agent options and deselect backup transaction logs Arc-Serve dosn't make the change to the backup.

If any one else is having this problem or has resloved it any help would be much appriciated.

Make sure you do not have a full green box infront of the SQL server ICON. That would need to be half green and then the options for each individual database should be used.
