Failed to load database information opening a Bus. View report

CE10, CR10 WinXP.

I have a user who is trying to open reports in CR10 that use BV's, when she does she gets a "Failed to load database information" error followed by a "Failed to create COM object" error, and the report will not open. It seems like a failure trying to connect to the repository. I've tried w/the admin account & get the same errors.

Has anyone seen this before?

Sounds more like a bad CR 10 install.

Since this is the CE forum, and you mention CE10 as the products being used, do you mean that they're opening it from Crystal Enterprise, or CR 10?

Big differnece there.

Also make sure that the data sources are installed on the client if they're using CR 10 and trying to use a BV created on another machine. BV's don't have the connectivity within, just the details of it.
