Failed to load CRViewer from CRViewer.dll.

I have created application with VB6,SQl2000 & CR8.5. When i run this app within VB project it works fine and i have created Package through PDW. When i run through PDW package gives me error
Run-Time error 372
Failed to load CRViewer from CRViewer.dll. YOur version of crviewer.dll may be outdated.Make sure you are using the version of the control that was provided with your application..

If you search for CRViewer.dll on your PC you'll find that you have more than one version of that dll.

Rename the older version to something like CRViewer_Old.dll
(and optionally copy the newer version over to the location of the older one).

That should solve the issue.

Is Crviewer.dll 8.5.0217 is new or 8.0.0371 ??

Sounds like you might be missing some dependency files for crviewer.

See if you can manually register the crviewer.dll on the client machine. If this fails, then you are missing something.

You should also not rely to heavily on the intelligence of the PDW, not to be negative, but this is a troubled add-in.

You should familiarize yourself wiht the runtime.hlp file on your machine so you can ensure you have all the files you need. Many of which you will need to add manually.
