Failed to enable virtual adapter

I'm using Cisco VPN client version 5.0.03.0560 in my laptop with Windows Vista. When trying to connect, this error message show up when trying to log-in "Failed to enable Virtual Adapter". The surprising thing is one time it works, the next time, it doesn't. The last time it didn't, I just uninstall and install the VPN client and it worked. This time it didn't. Would anyone know what causes the problem and what's the permanent fix?

update your NIC driver. i had the same problem on my dell e6500 until i updated the WLAN NIC driver.

I hate all Uppercase... I don't want my groups to seem angry at me all the time! =)
