Can anyone tell me a way to log into the CMC, when I don't have the Admin username and password??

Its, been working ok, but had to reboot due to an IP issue and now the auto login doesn't work!!

Any help would be so much appreciated, I'm so very new to this software

Best wishes,

Julian

I can't get in to the cmc to do anything.. the usernames and passwords i have been given, judt don't work :(
Is there another way I can get into it so i can reset the passwords or is the only way to get round this, is to rebuild??

rootcause,
Please read post carefully.

Log into the server using a local administrator account and then launch the CMC. Usually the DataCollector Local Administrator user account has full control within CMC.

Thanks.

I can only log into one account on the server and thats administrator, is there other default account that are on there?? (win2003) I have looked at computer management and all i can see is one account with full admin rights. When I have logged into the server and click cmc I have tried logging in as citrix/citrix and what I have been given as login details, but nothing works..

Sorry for being a pain, I'm not familier with this system at all..

So you are logged into the Citrix server as the local administrator.....correct?

If so, can you just choose "Use pass-through authentication" on the CMC and choose that server for Citrix server.
That should automatically log you in using the local administrator user name/password.

If that doesn't work..find the data collector for your farm. Go to "Start-run" and type in qfarm and look for a "*" or D\C entry next to your listed Citrix servers.

Then try to follow the same procedure.

Hope that helps.
