Failed Integrity Check

I looked on nai.com before coming here but could not find anything.

I am getting this error message on boot up - "C:\Program Files\Network Associates\Netshield2000\Mcshield.exe. Failed integrity check".

Any ideas how to fix this? Thanks, in advance, for any help with this matter.

Looks like your installation is corrupted. Suggest you uninstall and reinstall either NetShield or VirusScan Enterprise 7.0 (recommended)

... been there, done that, made that mistake too, see where I am now.

I get the same error message when I try to uninstall the program.
