We downloaded the version 1009 BIOS for the Asus A7V133 motherboard. Flashing the BIOS was reported to be successful, but when the system was restarted it got to the point when it accesses the floppy or harddrive and it freezes. We can't boot the system to restore the old BIOS. Does anyone know what we can do to get the system running again?

Thanks,
thompsm

If the system is booting but display doesn't init , you can put the commands for flashing back to previous bios in autoexec.bat file (all files must be on the floppy , aflash, bios file ,dos start up files w/autoexec.bat edited)
Do you hear it accessing floppy when booting , if you do this might be a way to get back . If not maybe contact asus , for shipping a new replacement BIOS chip .
