Hi All,

A customer of ours has a BCM 450 that was upgraded from a 400.
The unit failed last week and we've been asked to replace it.
They have a PRI with 48 digital phones and 72 IP phones.
The customer wants us to replace the main cabinet with a new BCM450 R6.0.

The SysID on their new BFT shows up as a BCM 450.01 in KRS.
The failed hard drive (which had been replaced by a previous vendor and left on site) is a BCM 450 R1 programmed HD.
So I'm fairly certain that the system is at R1.0.

The customer did a backup onto a flash drive last week just before the system failure.
Is there any way we can use that backup to restore the programming into a new 6.0 box?

Thanks for any help.

No

Only if you do and upgrade from 450rel 1 to rel 6

By that I mean first install it as a bcm450 rel1
Then do a key code upgrade to rel6 and use the CDs .

You can't put the rel1 on to a rel6 directly[tt][/tt]

Hope that makes sense
