Failed ,Aborted Can't get a back up

We have BE version 7 Rev 725 . SBS backing up a Compaq Prolient 800 Server on a HPSurestore T4.
For years we got completed backups and now we get
Storage Device reported an error on a request to write data to media error reported Data Error (cyclic redundancy check)
or I/O Device error or
Physical Volume User aborted the operation or
terminated by user
Appreciate the help

Have you checked Event Viewer? If you see event id 7, 9, 11, or 15, it is hardware related. Put relevant job log entries in your posts.

The event ID's are 57665 , 57858 etc.Most of the events are the same as what it says on the Log file that prints out and that I quoted above.
