You should get a verbose trace -TV, Are you using INET or MAPI? Does it work sometimes or never? What version are you using?

I am using INET. It works most of the time and suddenly this error occurs and then it works again. It is very inconsistent. I am using 6.7(268).

Do you have IdleEmail set in your mercator.ini file?
Time to upgrade. A lot of fixes to to utility adapters (including e-mail) since 6.7.0.

Current version is 8.0.1

BocaBurger,

Thank you very much for your responses. We received an email from the Mercator Customer Support to set the value of the IdleEmail to 30 or less in the mercator.ini file. I have been done a lot of testing after the change and so far so good. All emails are sent to the recipient.

Thanks again,

Hien Trinh

Hopefully the e-mail was from IBM Customer Support :)
