I have an OPT 11 and have run test in LD 30. I get that 3 phones have failed the signalling test. First question is they happen to be all digital, does this only test digital lines/phones? Secondly is it the phone that failed, the line or the port on the digital card or perhaps any or all of these items?

Thanks for the help.

It failed the test because it did not get a response back from the digital phone, probable cause is either the phone is unplugged, there is no physical phone at the jack or there is an open on the cable pair somewhere between the PBX
and the phone. Could also be that the TN isn't even crossconnected.
It could fail because of a defective TN or phone, but usally because of the first reasons I stated.
