fade in -- fade out

I want to make a png file fade in, zoom in and fade out. I checked old posts and the FAQ. I found nothing to help me.

I can do the zooming part, that's easy, but the fading part is beyond me right now. I'm a newbie and if you have the patience, I need a step by step instructions on how to do this. I use Macromedia Flash MX.

Assuming you are using keyframes for your zooming simply change the _alpha value (in properties pallette) on the last keyframe to 0.
