Hi,
We are trying to factory set several types of IP phones.

For UniStim 3.0 and above the sequence **73639 [MAC]## works on 11xx and 12xx IP phones. In the case of i200x phones running UniStim 3.0, this sequence does not work.

For UniStim version less than 3.0, I was told that the sequence Mute Up Down Up Down Up Mute * 0 * should factory reset the i200x IP phones. I haven't had any luck with this.

Has anyone tried to factory reset i200x phones before and succeeded?

Regards
Terry

Are these the Nortel branded IP phones?. There are problems trying to update the firmware as some versions have out of date certificates and therefore can't upgraded.

If it's working, then leave it alone!.

I've had this problem recently on a BCM 50 that was SRG to a 4.5 CS1000 system. We ended up having to get all the phones changed over to the Avaya branded models although 3 of the Nortel 1140/1120 IP Phones did upgrade OK.

I think the Nortel branded firmware was mainly 062xC6R (x = 4 or 5), and we had to use the Avaya branded 060xC8L release.

I think I sent out a more detailed answer last Month on a different thread.

@terrysdavid - The "factory reset" only works on the 11xx/12xx/2007. It is not supported on the 2001/2002/2004.
