Factory Reset Catalyst 2950 LRE Switch

I need to reset my Catalyst 2950 LRE switch to the factory defaults.
i cannot telnet the switch anymore.
hostname: LRE
ip: 192.168.0.70
default-gateway: 192.168.0.1
I definitely don't want to plug into the console everytime I need to change a setting.

You cannot telnet to the switch, but do you have access through the console port? If yes, check your line vty settings.

Will I be able to telnet after rebooting the switch and running back through the setup?

If you reprogram it with the original ip address and default gateway and set up your vty and enable secret passwords you should be able to telnet to it .

i found the file I used last time we replaced the switch with all the config info. I will TFP that into switch.
