So our NBX V3000 died. My boss got on EBay and purchased two of them so I could put things back together.
Surprise, they showed up, dont know the password, dont know the IP address.
Here is how I overcame this:
Connect to serial console and boot the unit.
During the boot up, you will see the IP address listed.
Once booted, you can also type "ifShow"
To get past the password issue, you can reset the database to a clean database
CAUTION: THIS WILL DELETE ALL USERS/CONFIG ON THIS UNIT!!!
run:
vxtar "-xvf","cleandb.tar"
When done, do a CTRL-R to reboot the unit.
You should now be able to login using the default password "administrator","0000"
