am trying to default a partner vs4.0 to factory default. what is the right sequence to default the vm. i can't get it .

Check out the FAQs, there has been a few posts on that issue. It's all there.

The faq tells you how to default the admin password. Is that what you are doing? OR, are you wanting to default the entire voicemail?

Once you login to the VM and press 9 for the admin menu, press 98925327. This will completely default the VM system - everything will be erased. The process takes a few minutes so the VM ports will be busy until the system is finished. Hope that helps...
