Hi,

We are using CF5 server for our applications. This CFserver is going down atleast once in a day during its maximum usage time.
Kindly suggest on this. Will rebooting help to resolve this issue?

Hi,

You need to supply more details for us to provide a meaningful answer to your question.

[ul]
[li]What are the specs of the machine?[/li]
[li]How much traffic are you getting at peak times?[/li]
[li]Are there any background processes running at the time it drops?[/li]
[li]What type of content are you serving? Dynamic/Static[/li]
[li]Are the requests running database queries for each page load?[/li]
[li]If you are using a database, is there any caching being performed?[/li]
[li]Have you checked the server/Coldfusion logs?[/li]
[/ul]

Without providing more information, anything we suggest is total guesswork and it's very unlikely any answers provided would be useful.

Hope this helps,

Wullie
