Hello All,

This is my first post, don't be harsh on me..

We have Call Manager 7.1.5.30000-1
I am on my way to implement FAC codes for international numbers.
Two questions:
1. Is there any way, for some phones to bypass the FAC prompt ? Ideally, for some top management people, they would not want to have this in my company.

2. I have some fax machines configured with ATA186 devices. Will sending fax to international numbers be affected by FAC, or ATA-fed devices are not impacted. I would not want FAC to be prompted here also.

I have tried searching, but didnt come across any solution..
Any help please ..

you need to create a css that has a unique partition with an intl route pattern without the FAC code checked. Then assign that css to all the exec phones and ata devices as well.

Ok, i went through this one today.... was quite held up until today ...

created a new partition, eg, test-partition
created a new css, test-css, and assigned the partition to it.
next i created another route pattern 9020! and assigned test-partition to it.

finally i assigned test-css to a DN (not phone) and did a test.
i played with the FAC check-box on the route pattern config to check. it worked fine !
I assign the phone device to the DN in my current settings here.
i noticed its working with css at DN changed, not phone's css.

tomorrow, will put the test-css with the DN having ATA device associated and test the fax...
