Does anyone know from which GL table in Accpac V5.4 the F9 balances are extracted.
I have F9 TB which gives me wrong info on 3 accounts out of about 3000. I thought it was GLAFS it does not seem to be the problem. In these 3 accounts there are transactions in month 7 and that extracts correctly but the balances of month 8 (should be the same as 7) come out as zero. The other accounts are all fine. The formula is copied down and is the same for every account.
If I print a TB from Accpac it is fine. FR in Accpac also correct.
Need help before I go mad.

My first guess would be GLAFS, possibly GLPOST.
Have you checked GL data integrity?

Here's a thought, if it is Pervasive check in the Monitor which table(s) are open when you run F9.

You going to watch the "Bokke" tonight? Everywhere here is just Green and Gold. Tomorrow will be smiles all around I am hoping.

The table must be GLAFS. But forget the question. I was down the wrong path not knowing F9 too well. (Actually till a few days ago not at all). The period specifier was set to "Month" instead of "Year To Date".

Still have to discover how this client had a F9 TB which was to balance back to the Accpac TB when his period was set to month.

I was not going to admit this but my wife spotted the problem.

Thanks for taking the trouble to help anyway.

Jip I will be watching the game, I have my beer handy, just missing some biltong.
