Hi Folks,
I keep getting a lot of error messages saying something like this
$ errpt
IDENTIFIER TIMESTAMP T C RESOURCE_NAME DESCRIPTION
369D049B 0704103702 I O SYSPFS UNABLE TO ALLOCATE SPACE IN FILE SYSTEM
There is a filesystem /opt for oracle system and datafiles. It went from 68% to 99% this week and I have tried to find the cause for it. I have cleared away all logs and dump and trace files.
Someone suggested rebooting the F50 to clear away unwanted background and dead processes. So I shutdown the listener, database and rebooted the box. It went down fine and started up fine but when it got to the last stage it hung. Now I cannot log on or connect to the box.
What shall I do please help me?
This server is part of our migration plan, we are moving from old J40 to F50 and so far it had been very difficult. And not to mention a very deep learning curve for me too.
Hope you can help me.
Thanking you all in advance.
Regards
Katherine
