I just began working on a new site, and I published it to the local network server. Now when I press F12 to preview in browser, the browser is looking on the server to find the temp preview file, rather than my local machine. All I get is a 'page cannot be displayed'.Why is this happening?

-preview= make a temp file on the server! (local or remote...)
check your access (lan/ftp)to "testing server" as well as the "site map layout" under your Advanced tab in your site definiton to make sure they are pointing to the right location...otherwise DW will assume ur doingi t loaclly...ADnd if u dont have a server on you machine then no page can ever be "serverd" temp. or not....

All it matters is that you have the rights to create files on the location....NOT IURS_machine account but rather an account u use on your network....rememeber that ' is accessed so make sure that folder is accessible to your login account -on other words if ur not using an FTP to your server then make sure u can 'map a drive' to root folder...
HTH
All the best!
