How do you set the extension the F1098 key dials into for VM? We just migrated from an old UCB system to the new NEC BCT system and the VM extension changed from 1000 to 6500. Previously we had a vendor set up all our phones to use F1098 to dial into VM. Since the change, those keys are not working. The current vendor tried setting up a soft key for VM, but it doesn't work on a lot of phones. They just want a list of phones with the key not working, but personally, I'd prefer to just get the F1098 command working again as it was previously.

The extension is specified in CMD 5115, by tenant.
EX: 5115>01>1000:->6500 EXE.

Thanks, I think that did it.

Now it appears to be hitting the system, just gives a fast busy and hangs up after it forwards to 64##. It works fine if you dial 6500 direct though. Not sure what the difference is, but I don't have access to the BCT yet to look into it. I guess we'll wait and see from here.

Figured it out. F1098 doesn't work with BCT. Go figure :)

Many times we just made the button a speed dial to the VM, F1100 for each phone and VM pilot in CMD 73.
