I have just upgraded to ezmlm-idx-0.40 from ezmlm-0.53 stand-alone. The ugrade went alright, but not perfect. As is my old lists are all working correctly, however when I create a new list by using all defaults I have getting an error that I can not figure out. What I have done is manually subscribe myself to the test list that I have created after creating a list via the instructions in the FAQ for ezmlm-idx:
# ezmlm-make ~alias/<listname> ~alias/.qmail-<listname> <listname> <servername>
# chown -R alias ~alias/<listname>
# ezmlm-sub ~alias/<listname> myemail@mydomain.com
when I email the list, I get a bounce back complaining that:
ezmlm-reject: fatal: List address must be in To: or Cc: (#5.7.0)
but when I edit the editor file in the list directory, and remove the DIR from the ezmlm-reject line, the list will work correctly. I have tried putting the list address (<listname>@<mydomain.com>) in both the To: and Cc: lines, I emailed both with pine and with ximian evolution, I am not sure what the problem could be at this point, why ezmlm does not see the list address is beyond me now.
thanks in advance.
